I will stamp all over 'legitimate fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to publicize the upcoming bout.

Former twice unified title holder Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge mismatch - at Miami's venue on 19 December.

Boxer's Mentality

"I will damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35, stated.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."

Civil Interaction

Despite such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically famous for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK opponent Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.

Jake Paul's Background

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Success

However, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's greatest financial successes, consistently making substantial paydays.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would prevent the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.

Physical Disparity

As Joshua and Paul participated in the customary confrontation, with their size difference evident, it drove home just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the match is really going ahead.
